Where did the inspiration for Fontenelle luxury candles come from?
My name is Giovanna Fontenelle. I come from a traditional Brazilian family, more precisely from the city of Goiânia located in central Brazil.
Much of my life has been on the farms founded by my grandfather Maurício Fontenelle bordering my city. Our farms are named Retiro, Bonsucesso and Nova Veneza. Being a very large and connected family, we all meet on one of the farms, alternating weekends for good barbecue and good conversation that lasts all day under our mango tree.
This connection with nature, with waterfalls, streams and animals inspired me in my more natural side that identifies luxury in the simple pleasures of life. Sitting with friends and family on benches made of wood harvested from the land, telling stories and eating good food, brings feelings of peace and calmness.
This simplicity captivates me, and with so much production coming from our fields, it made me stop to think why not produce candles whose essences remind me of this nature, this tranquility, this peace?. With this in mind, I developed scented candles that seek the essence of country life, where I believe that luxury it can be found in the space that allows you to breathe, bringing comfort and well-being .
