Caring for Your
Fontenelle Candle
Enjoy a clean, long-lasting burn with our coconut–soy wax blend. Follow these steps to make the most of every candle: from the first light to the last moment.
BEFORE YOU LIGHT YOUR CANDLE
- Trim the Wick: Before each burn, trim only the tip of the carbon buildup. This keeps the flame steady and reduces soot.
- Let the Candle Cool: Always allow your candle to cool back to room temperature before trimming again.
- Place on a Stable Surface: Set your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts.
- Safe for Skin: Our coconut–soy blend melts gently and can be applied to elbows, knees, feet, and dry areas using the wooden spatula.
- Keep Safe: Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
WHILE THE CANDLE IS BURNING
- Let It Pool: On the first burn, allow the wax to melt to the edges of the container (2–3 hours). This prevents tunneling.
- Burn Time: Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time.
- Don’t Touch the Flame: Never touch or move the candle while lit or with melted wax.
- Burning Multiple Candles: Keep candles at least three inches apart.
- Enjoy the Scent: Allow the fragrance to fill the room naturally.
USING YOUR CANDLE AS SKINCARE
