Also nearby is the Lake of Roses which is considered an original historic park for the city! My family’s residential house is located in the Oeste neighborhood, it was built by my grandfather Tito Bertazzi in 1959 when the city of Goiânia was still being developed. It is a ranch-style country house but in the middle of the busiest streets in Goiânia! The gardens of the house are planted with lemon, jabuticaba, and coconut trees giving a wonderful balance of nature and peace while surrounded by all of the energy of the big city.
